In collaboration with Cornell University, Bassett Research Institute has received funding from the National Institutes of Health to conduct research on the impact of School-Based Health Centers on rural youth. School-Based Health Centers are clinics located in schools that provide care to students at no out-of-pocket cost to families. Bassett Healthcare Network runs 22 School-Based Health Centers in 18 school districts across 4 counties in rural, central New York.
